This tutorial will demonstrate the shortcuts to Paste Values in Excel.

Pasting Values

• Pasting Values is useful when you would like to copy a formula and paste just it’s value.
• This gets rid of the formula and format. It just pastes the text, as shown below.

Paste Values is found within the Paste Special Menu:

1. Click on the cell to copy and use Ctrl + C to copy the cell.

2. Click where you’d like to paste and use the shortcut:
   PC Shortcut: Ctrl+ALT+V>V>Enter
   Mac Shortcut: Ctrl+⌘+V>⌘+V>Return

• CTRL + ALT + V will display the Paste Special Menu.
• V will select Values.
• Enter will perform the paste operation.

Your final value will be as shown below, with no formula or format.
