• Chief Excel Officer / Owner of AutomateExcel.com
• Actuarial Associate at Hewitt Associates and Aon Hewitt.
• 15 years of experience in finance, software development, and Excel training and consulting.

Steve worked as a pension actuary for Aon Hewitt where he developed Excel training for new hires. He left Aon Hewitt to found Spreadsheet Boot Camp LLC where he started developing Excel training eventually used by millions of people. He also provided Excel / VBA consulting services to many organizations including the Society of Actuaries (SOA) where he advised on Excel best practices and developed Excel materials used in the SOA’s accreditation process.

In 2016, Steve acquired AutomateExcel.com and began developing AutoMacro, the pre-eminent VBA add-in for automating Excel. He is now focused on developing AI-solutions to automate Excel.

Education

Steve holds a B.B.A in Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, and Risk Management from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
